Frequently asked questions
What organisers ask us
Which sports is ArenaSmart for?
Football right now. Mini-football and futsal, handball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, hockey and rugby are next. Running tournaments in another sport? Write to us and we'll set it up together.
Do I need to install anything?
No. ArenaSmart opens in the browser, on a phone, tablet or computer. Anyone who wants can add it to their home screen, like an app.
Do parents and coaches need an account?
No. They get a link or scan a code and see everything straight away. Only the organiser has an account.
Can I use what I have already prepared?
Yes. Import teams, the schedule and player lists from Excel or WhatsApp, and the app takes them over, checking for repeated or similar names. Teams from past tournaments stay saved for next time.
What if a team says late that they can't make a certain time?
The coach sends the request from their page and you see it straight away. You approve it, approve it with a different time, or reply with another suggestion. The app shows you which matches would be affected and helps you move them.
Which tournament formats can I use?
League, groups followed by semi-finals and a final, or knockout. Choose the format and the app does the rest.
How is children's data protected?
Children's names are shown publicly only with their parents' consent. Details are in the Privacy Policy (in Romanian).
Does it work without internet?
It needs internet, but mobile data on a phone is enough.
Does it work for teams from abroad?
Yes. Parents, coaches and referees can switch to English with a single button.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the tournament. Ask for a quote and we'll reply with the price for your tournament.
